This method attempts to provide speedy, un-interrupted delivery of product to the customer. Whereas conventional methodologies such as the “Water fall method” or other additive processes require elaborate demands that are defined in the origin where the end product is like what defined in the source. With agile there is no clearly defined end product at the gusset. In agile there is still a checked prioritization process, but the non-static demands, tractability, fixed change, and regular communication approach this as component of the culture and procedure.
Water fall model:
Water fall model methodology is one of that is most used across all industries, and it is very common in software development and structure. In this model includes various phases:
- Requirements specification
RAD(Rapid Applications Development):
This has a cycle of models then images again and again in the process. Mostly used in software development, RAD calls for the interactive use of integrated techniques and modeling to determine user’s demands and design the final system.
NPI(New Product Introduction):
NPI is not really a full project management methodology, because it does not admit all the needed project management steps that are needed for project success. But still is the process that many organizations follow for product related projects.
PER(Packaged enable re-engineering):
Not normally referenced methodology, but one deserving nothing because of its familiarity in the service and business conventional approach to project management.
The idea was to improve processes by eliminating defects which are defined as “nonconformity of a product or service to its specifications”.
